The Insulcon demoulder gasket is a packing, produced by braiding several types of yarns to form a round, somewhat flexible endless gasket ring, covered evenly with wire mesh. The gaskets are being produced in our modern production facilities in Temse, Belgium known as Insulcon N.V.

These gaskets can be used in the vacuum demoulding device in the non-ferrous industry. In the aluminium industry the automatic sows caster carousel is used to produce sows. After cooling down, the sows are removed by a lifting device, equipped with our demoulder gasket. 

Insulcon's demoulder gaskets 

The demoulder gasket can be produced in several densities according to customer specification. Our demoulder gasket is made from texturized, continuous HT-Glass fibre filaments with a maximum of 9 microns. These fibres cause considerably less irritation of the skin than the coarser fibres.
