The main function of Wearflex® Telescopic Seals is to prevent access of cold air ingress inside a radiation area saving you high energy costs. Wearflex® telescopic seals are applied in the (petro)chemical industry where catalyst tubes in reformers penetrate the roof. These telescopic seals are easy to install around each reformer tube at the pigtail connection and on top of the roof.
Within a reformer temperatures can reach up to 950°C. Causing pipe sections to expand as a result, pipes move uncontrollably. These seals will keep the pipes insulated while the pipes can still move around in axial patterns (100-350mm).
Every operational process is different, that is why every Wearflex® Telescopic Seal is tailor-made for your specific process. These seals are made out of a combination of alloyed steel parts with half pipe sections, which slide into each other like a telescope, it is made in combination with state-of-the-art insulation blankets and board. The mount of our Wearflex® telescopic seals takes only 5-10 minutes, using a screwdriver and stainless steel jubilee clips.

Together with our Wearflex® telescopic seals we can offer you the Wearflex® insulation cover (pigtail mattresses) to cover the pig tale tubes from the manifold to the catalyst tube. These mattresses are specially designed to insulate the pig tale tubes. They can be installed quickly in comparison with the traditional calcium silicate pipe insulation with aluminium foil and tie-wire. They can be removed quickly as well, for inspection or maintenance of the pigtail tubes.

Binnen een reformer kunnen de temperaturen oplopen tot 950°C. Door de uitzetting van de buisprofielen kunnen de buizen ongecontroleerd bewegen. Deze afdichtingen houden de buizen geïsoleerd terwijl de buizen nog steeds kunnen bewegen in axiale patronen (100-350mm).
Elk operationeel proces is anders, daarom is elke Wearflex® Telescopische afdichting op maat gemaakt voor uw specifieke proces. Deze afdichtingen zijn gemaakt van een combinatie van gelegeerde stalen onderdelen met halve buisdelen, die als een telescoop in elkaar schuiven, het is gemaakt in combinatie met state-of-the-art isolatiedekens en -plaat. De montage van onze Wearflex®-telescoopafdichtingen duurt slechts 5-10 minuten, met behulp van een schroevendraaier en roestvrijstalen jubileumklemmen.

Samen met onze Wearflex®-telescopische afdichtingen kunnen wij u de Wearflex®-isolatieafdekking (inlaad tube matrassen) aanbieden om de leidingen van het spruitstuk tot aan de katalysatorbuis af te dekken. Deze matrassen zijn speciaal ontworpen om inlaad tubes te isoleren. Ze zijn snel te installeren in vergelijking met de traditionele calciumsilicaatbuisisolatie met aluminiumfolie en binddraad. Ook kunnen ze snel worden verwijderd, voor inspectie of onderhoud van inlaad tubes.
